I’m pretty sure it’s clear by now that I LOVE HALLOWEEN! As I mentioned I am trying to jam-pack all weekends with Halloween related activities. First weekend there was a Halloween shopping spree and decorating binge (by the way every weekend since then more decorations and supplies have been bought…ouch on my bank account), second weekend involved testing out some Halloween cocktails and a trip to Disneyland, and this past weekend we had what I have dubbed the Pumpkin Carving Extravaganza 2012!

Here’s a little background. For the past few years, Cyclops and I have had our own pumpkin carving events (not sure you can call them Extravaganzas with only 2 people) but this year I decided we should shake it up, especially after the major decorating binge we both went on.

We had already planned a triple date with some of my former intern buddies and their significant others and inspiration struck me, why not turn our outing into a Pumpkin Carving Extravaganza!

Armed with some decorations, Halloween music (which is hard to come by), and Halloween cocktails (more on that later) we had a night filled with laughter, board games and pumpkin guts! And there was definitely a lot of nerd talk…as always.

I think after you see the results below you will want to gather up all your fellow “nerd” + “normal” couples and have your own Extravaganza!
