I may have just found my new obsession. A little backstory. During a bacherolette party to Mardi Gras a few years back my friends and I discovered the most magical thing ever…WIGS! Ladies (or any readers out there so inclined) if you have never given wigs a try you are missing out on the best things in life! They are so much fun, you can change up your look, go crazy for a night and best of all it cuts down the getting ready time in at least half.

Now the nerds reading may or may not carea about this post, but guess what, the “normal” girls I’m training in all things nerd need some posts for them every once in a while too. I can’t give them full blown glamour posts but I can at least throw out a nerdy fashion / style story every once in a while. This one is for you. I just stubmled on a story about LEGO wigs!

Dutch design studio Elroy Klee was invited to create an imaginative and for Mindplay. What did they come up with? A series of models wearing full on LEGO wigs in 3 different styles; afro, short red cropped, and layered blonde locks. Each wig was customized to actually fit on the model’s head precisely but that doesn’t mean they didn’t have to sit very gingerly until they got their shot. Now this is a LEGO build project I can get behind. Check out the results in the slideshow.
