I officially decided on Sunday that I may just be too old to watch the VMAs anymore. Not only did I have the same horrified expression as the Smith family (see the photo below) during the entire Miley Cyrus debacle but my roommate and I spent a good deal of time trying to figure out just how old TSwift and Selena Gomez were during the reign of NSYNC…the answer made me really sad.

Other than the too short NSYNC reunion, in which I may have been screaming like a 14 year old girl, there was one good thing that came out of the VMAs, the premiere of the Divergent trailer, and it looks good!

As I mentioned in my previous post, this was one of the YA novels that I just had to read. I blew thru the first 2 books and am eagerly awaiting the release of the 3rd in the trilogy. If you haven’t read them I highly suggest it, it has a similar vibe to the Hunger Games, a girl that kicks-ass, a society that is out of whack and a little romance (but thankfully no love triangle…yet).
