Fall TV Preview 2013: Drama Edition

I’ve shared some of the comedies I’m interested in checking out this season, but let’s not forget about the dramas, so we are continuing the 2013 Fall TV Preview with the Drama Edition.

Almost Human
I’m not sure if this is the most revolutionary concept out there; man and robot coexisting BUT because of the actors in the roles I think that this show has some potential.

Airing on Fox: November 4, 2013 at 9.

The Tomorrow People
As you may or may not remember I was very excited when news broke about this series, purely because of the people involved. The trailer hasn’t sold me 100% but for me it does have a serious X-Men vibe. You have teens with powers that they may or may not understand and you have an evil government trying to eradicate them…if that’s not X-Men then I don’t know what is. Hopefully this show can live up to my original excitement.

Airing on the CW: October 9, 2013 at 9.

Hostages
This show just looks intense! Plus I love me some Toni Collette (United States of Tara anyone?). The only thing that concerns me is the longevity factor. How long can you keep a show with this premise going? And how long before Collette hooks up with her captor McDermott get it on?

Airing on CBS: September 23, 2013 at 10.

Once Upon a Time in Wonderland
If you haven’t heard about this show then you are probably living under a rock. Originally meant to be a limited run to bridge the gap during the summer for Once Upon a Time fans has turned into a full fledged pick up. I’m going to be honest, I wasn’t sure about this but the trailer has totally hooked me. We’ll see if this series is just as magical as it’s counterpart.

Airing on ABC: October 10, 2013 at 8.

The Blacklist
I’m not sure what the expect from this and I feel like the entire pilot  is given away in the trailer but every article I’ve seen written about this show gives a MUST WATCH…so I’ll at least check it out.

Airing on NBC: September 23, 2013 at 10.

The Originals
I think it’s pretty clear why I’m excited about this one. Is it possible for this to be even hotter than the Vampire Diaries?? Check out this shot I grabbed at Comic-Con and you’ll see It just might be.

Airing on the CW: October 8, 2013 at 8.

Sleepy Hollow
Honestly this wasn’t a show that was on my radar, but it just happened to be after a show premiering last night that I do watch, Bones. Guess what I watched it and I liked it. I’m going to post my thoughts later. For now here’s the trailer.

Airing on Fox: Mondays at 9.

Alright folks that’s it for my 2013 Fall TV Preview. Look for my reviews of some of these shows after they premiere. And as always sound off in the comments with your own thoughts.
