I have no real vested interest in the upcoming Batman v Superman movie..although I was a huge fan of Batman the Animated Series, but I figured I should at least watch the trailer and if if nothing else it would kill 3:32 minutes or so at work.

Initial thoughts:

• I like that they are addressing the ridiculous amount of damage Superman did in Man of Steel…not sure if this is due to fan outcry or if this was part of the plan all along, but it makes sense.
• Not sure how I feel about the looks of Batman’s suit…but hey I’m also not sure about Affleck as Batman either, so it’s all up in the air at this point.
• Was that Jeffrey Dean Morgan playing Bruce Wayne’s father? Sometimes I feel like that guy has more cameos than any other actor. RIP Denny.
• Was it jarring for anyone else when Wonder Woman randomly popped up almost 3 minutes into the trailer? I hope they do a better job of incorporating her into the actual movie.

Conclusion….I am no more excited about seeing this movie then I was before watching the trailer. If you haven’t watched it yet I have included below.

I for one recommend watching the mashup trailer that I also included after the original…now this is a movie I would see!!
